Company achieved globally renowned security certification in just two months
Net zero consultancy ClearVUE.Business was successfully awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, the global standard for information security. ClearVUE.Business handles significant amounts of customer data through their energy and carbon management platform ClearVUE.Zero, which monitors companies’ emissions and guides them towards net zero.
The certification was issued by Bureau Veritas – an international and independent testing agency accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). The certificate ensures that an Information Security Management System (ISMS) is in place to govern how the company operates. The scope covers the entire Software Development Life Cycle, Platform Management, Corporate IT, Cloud Infrastructure Management, and Client Onboarding.
The accreditation demonstrates ClearVUE.Business’ commitment to protect customers’ data and provide products and services its clientele can trust. It is a recognition of the diligent work carried out by the global team at ClearVUE.Business to build a secure and trusted product.
This work culminated with the engagement of RSM Malta as an independent auditor who confirmed that policies and procedures are based on information security best practices, leading to ClearVUE.Business achieving the widely recognised ISO certification in just two months. This is a significant achievement, considering that normally, the overall process can take up to six months for companies to complete.
“The process was intense. I am really pleased by the level of teamwork across our offices in Ta’ Xbiex (Malta), Chennai (India), and Gateshead (UK) from all departments involved” stated Ralph Attard, Chief Technology Officer at Global Procurement Group. “Achieving ISO 27001 certification for ClearVUE.Business proves our commitment to keep securing and protecting customer data.”
